GROUP-1 FORTUNE COOKIES

JULY: Every month Daqman previews the Group-1 races for your diary dates with horses laid out for them in this new-style Fortune Cookies of hot hints and quotes.

His forecasts cover the tail end of June to catch the Irish Derby, and on a daily basis he will be picking up on the Royal Ascot losers, as part of his system for an early date with horses to follow at the top level.

⭕ 3.30 Curragh, tomorrow (Pretty Polly Stakes) This is the race we have been aiming her at: Wemighttakedlongway (Joseph O‘Brien).

⭕ 4.10 Curragh, Sunday (Irish Derby) A big, laid-back type with a lot more to come: Green Impact (Jessica Harrington).

⭕ 3.35 Sandown, next Saturday (Eclipse) Has won six races on soft but prefers good ground: Sosie (Andre Fabre).

⭕ 4.35 Newmarket, July 12 (July Cup) She’s back big time after a long absence, with a heart like a lion: Flora Of Bermuda (Andrew Balding).

⭕ 3.40 Curragh, July 19 (Irish Oaks) Still learning; a lot of class and a great traveler in her races: Minnie Hauk (Aidan O’Brien)

⭕ 3.35 Ascot, July 26 (King George) You’ve seen the real Goliath again today in the La Coupe trial win, on the way to a King George double (Francis-Henri Graffard).

SWAN CAN STEAL DIAMOND

⭕ 7-05 Newcastle tonight This Group 3 is where Roger Varian plays – three winners in eight seasons and all gambles – but it will be tough for his Imperial Quarter, placed at this level but winner only of her maiden, and now aged five.

Three-year-olds, like Anna Swan, do best and her trainer, William Haggas, had winners here at Newcastle and at Newmarket yesterday.

Anna Swan ran in the Fillies Mile as a two-year-old and showed some form at Listed level the last day. She gets 12lb from Diamond Rain, a Listed winner, and has huge 9.0 offers on BETDAQ this morning.

Diamond Rain ran up to Running Lion at Haydock before that one was fourth in the Group-2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot.

PLAY THE JAK ON BETDAQ

⭕ 7-35 Newcastle (Gosforth Park Cup) Tim Easterby’s form coming here today is 10111, two of them at Newcastle yesterday, one over 5f. But so far Monks Dream has been a class-4 player.

Paddys Day rose through the ranks, class 4 to class 2, in a Newcastle four-timer in the first two months of the year.

Jakajaro had 10 straight races in the Pattern but placed only at Listed level. This is his big chance at 9.9 Betdaq Betting Exchange offers this morning, with Tom Marquand booked.

Bergerac and Vintage Clarets are winners of this for the last two years.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
