CHELTENHAM: SEE HOW THEY WON: DAY 1 of 5: Cheltenham here we come and the search is on for ante-post bets, as Daqman checks out where to find the winners with the stables to watch for today and – from tomorrow – a day by day stats guide to festival week. So see how they won!

11-4 NATIONAL WINNER LANDED YESTERDAY: After three winners on Saturday, Daqman had two more yesterday, including a third Grand National this season, the Cambridgeshire National at Huntingdon, with Court Frontier (WON 11-4). His other winner was Great Field (WON 15-8) at Leopardstown.

DAQMAN MONDAY: Four selections for Daqman this Monday he likes the look of two top weights over jumps at Lingfield and two at bigger prices on the flat at Wolverhampton.

NEXT STOP: WOLVER FOR YELLOW BUS

3.20 Lingfield Ardmayle was a winning Irish pointer before being bought for £50,000 by current connections and looks capable of justifying that price tag after a much improved display on his chase debut last time. He has been hit with a 7lb penalty for that win but the manner in which he won suggests that he has further scope for improvement and should be hard to beat. The 1.78 available on BETDAQ looks fair and he is a solid back proposition.

3.50 Lingfield A tight little handicap with only the four runners declared but Eminent Poet looks a likely type. He has proven form on heavy ground and is taking a drop back in class today from a hit Haydock handicap last time. This should be more his pace and at 3.6 on BETDAQ he looks like an interesting play.

3.10 Wolverhampton Derek Duval didn’t show a huge amount on debut when 8th of 10 at Lingfield but has the potential to improve significantly on his second start now switching to the all-weather. There has been bits and pieces of support for him early and his pedigree suggests that artificial surfaces could be up his street. This is also not the strongest of contests and at 7.8 on BETDAQ he looks worth a punt.

4.10 Wolverhampton The Yellow Bus was a useful type in Ireland for the now retired David Watchman and looks capable of making her mark here on her first start for new connections. She has placed form on the all-weather at Dundalk and the booking of Adam Kirby certainly catches the eye. The 7.8 available on BETDAQ is tempting and she is put forward as a back.

DAQMAN’S BETS
