🏆 World Cup 2026 🏆

🇭🇹 Haiti v Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

2am (Sunday) There is something painfully Scottish about the kick off time for Haiti v Scotland on WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange! ! Twenty eight years of hurt, a first World Cup since France 98, and the Tartan Army are rewarded with a 2am kick-off! But make no mistake, no one in Scotland will be falling asleep despite the late kick off; this is an absolutely must win game for Scotland if they are going to have any chance of getting out of Group C. It’s a story in itself that Haiti made it to a World Cup, but they will almost certainly be the whipping boys of this Group and Scotland cannot afford a slip-up. It’s no surprise they are trading as the odds on favourites at 1.56 with Haiti 6.8 and the draw is 4.6 at the time of writing.

It’s fair to say most football fans are expecting Brazil to top Group C; it will be interesting to see their performance against Morocco in the fixture before this, but you’d have to expect a battle between Morocco and Scotland for second. The whole campaign hinges on this opener to be honest. Win it, and a point off Morocco could be enough to sneak through as one of the eight best third-placed sides too. Drop points here, and the Brazil and Morocco double header becomes a near impossible ask. Clarke knows it, the players know it, and the pressure is squarely on. But there is a huge gulf in class between the sides here – Scotland should go into the game with confidence.

Haiti are at their first World Cup since 1974; a 52-year wait finally ended on a remarkable November night when a 2-0 win over Nicaragua sealed top spot in their CONCACAF group ahead of Costa Rica and Honduras. This is a squad knitted together almost entirely from diaspora talent raised in France, Belgium and England. Because of the conflict and instability back home, they could not play a single home qualifier on Haitian soil, so even getting here is a massive achievement. Scotland have a squad of a lifetime coming into this World Cup; Andy Robertson captains a disciplined defensive unit, and Scott McTominay arrives as arguably the form player of the entire Group after a sensational season at Napoli.

WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange!

It feels certain that Haiti will set their stall out to defend here and Scotland will have to grind out a win, however they have enough quality to break down Haiti here. As I said above, the gulf in class between the sides is massive and if anything I feel the 1.56 on Scotland is a little big. Haiti are raw, inexperienced and have only recently ended a winless run; against a settled, well-drilled Scottish side with a tonne of quality in their squad. It’s interesting to see Over 2.5 goals is odds on at 1.94, but I feel to be on that, you’d have to expect Scotland to do most of the work there. Scotland have been improving a number of years now – they were very impressive in qualifying too – and I’m happy with a confident to start their World Cup campaign with a win!

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Scotland to beat Haiti at 1.56 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
