THREE WINNERS OUT OF FOUR WITH BACK-TO-BACK NAPS: Whenever Pricewise puts his head above the tipping parapet, Daqman shoots him down, whether with a 14-1 nap or one at odds on, giving him back-to-back best bets from Saturday in England and Sunday in France for a 48-23 lead. LIGHT SHOW THURSDAY AT KILLARNEY

Will he, won’t he? Frankie Dettori has been invited to ride at Killarney on Wednesday but so far there are no booked rides against his name all week.

After a hectic Newmarket, and a 38% strike rate in the past fortnight (11-29), Frankie’s invitation is in the Kerry town’s tradition of bringing champions to their turf.

The daddy of all jockeys, Lester Piggott, had three winners for Vincent O’Brien (the daddy of all trainers!) at this four-day July Festival in 1991.

⚠️ HEADS UP: Epsom Derby winners Wings Of Eagles (2016) and Anthony Van Dyck (2018) broke their maiden at this meeting. Both had had a previous outing for the Aidan O’Brien stable.

The race is on Wednesday (5.55), when Arthur’s Kingdom, Innisfree and San Pedro are all engaged for O’Brien at this stage, all having had a run.

⚠️ HEADS UP: Thursday’s handicap hurdle (4.25) prepped Swamp Fox for the 2017 Galway Hurdle but he was pipped a neck (it still hurts). Likewise, after Golden Ticket won this for J P McManus (2014), he was beaten half a length at Galway.

Maybe Jessica Harrington’s Light That can do the double. After his third in a big field (Grade B) at Punchestown last time he had a long break before winning, and looks certain to show on Thursday.

Originally intended to go straight to Galway but the Thursday field has cut up already, and the Harrington horses are in top gear with six July winners.

SENDING NAP TO WINDSOR

2.20 Ripon Balancing Act showed improvement on her second start at Thirsk last month when fifth, beaten just two lengths behind Havana Dawn. She showed plenty of pace that day and should be suited by the drop back to the minimum trip here.

It was a much improved effort on her debut run at Newcastle where she was very green and only beat two home. With a similar level of improvement from her second start she could well prove hard to beat here.

The market leader is Orlaith who stayed on into fourth place at Catterick last time out after a sloppy start. I’m not convinced she is best suited by five furlongs and may need further to get off the mark.

Precocity is a little weak in the BETDAQ market this morning having shown some promise over course and distance on debut last month. She was however beaten 9 1/2 lengths into fourth and will need to show plenty more, even allowing for the fact that this looks a weaker contest.

4.10 Ayr Boston George makes his debut in handicap company off what could be a lenient mark. The handicapper hasn’t much to go on with this progressive sort who was a winner on the all-weather at Newcastle last October and ran well after a break first time out this season to chase home Destination at Wetherby. Destination has run well subsequently in two starts and like a lot of Wetherby form this season it is proving half decent.

Trainer Keith Dalgleish has had four winners in the last two weeks and Boston George is taken to add to the tally.

The biggest danger on paper looked to be Crownthorpe who is now a non-runner which might leave Nicholas T as the biggest rival. The Jim Goldie trained runner was a course and distance last time out but may struggle off his higher mark and there is also a question mark over current stable form.

7.20 Killarney She always tries her best and is potentially the young improver of the race, aged seven. Today’s ground is perfect for her.

Lakemilan likes to go left-handed, and is a Grade B handicap hurdle winner at this course. Excellent chase second at Listowel, leading at today’s trip.

Lakemilan is claimed off, giving her a 15lb start over the top-weight, All The Answers, who lacks a recent run.

8.00 Windsor An intriguing contest despite there just being four runners, all from top stables.

Preference is for Sendeed who has improved steadily in three starts and was impressive at Hamilton last time out when making all and scampering five lengths to justify his short price tag.

There should be further improvement to come from the Godolphin runner.

The Sir Michael Stoute trained Dilmun Dynasty cost 1,000,000gns as a yearling but was a well beaten third at Chepstow last time out and the first time visor will need to make quite a major difference otherwise he is going to look VERY expensive.
