THREE MEETINGS SUNDAY: Daqman drops in at Leopardstown, Huntingdon and Towcester for his daily Betdaq recommendations.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN: Just over a week until the Cheltenham Festival and Daqman is burning the midnight oil with his pre meeting stats and trends guide for each of the four days. Watch this space this week!

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

⭕ 1.20 Leopardstown: We’re very much in the pre-Cheltenham phase now so it’s a low quality card by Leopardstown’s standards with the feature Listed Chase at 4.02pm looking impossible to solve.

The filly Carrigmoorna Beech romped home at Gowran on her debut and bids to follow-up in the closing bumper but there’s not much fat in her price on Betdaq Betting Exchange and she’s up against a couple of interesting debutants.

The only play on the card for me is Honesty Policy in the opener. The Gordon Elliott trained runner showed promise in a maiden point before improving under rules to finish second at Naas.

He was then an impressive wide margin winner at Navan where he accounted for Come Walk With Me. The third from that race has run well again since.

This track should suit and I don’t see the slightly quicker ground being an issue.

Sommesky was chucked in at the deep end here last time out and struggled in Grade 1 company. The Henry De Bromhead yard have also still to hit top form.

A bigger danger may come from Champagne Jury who won nicely at Naas last time out.

AWESOME HORSESOME

⭕ 3.07 Doncaster: Horsesomeharry was a little disappointing here last time but the triple factor of being dropped in class, trip and in the weights are enough to convince me to support him today.

It doesn’t look the toughest of races and hopefully he can return to the kind of form that saw him win nicely at Carlisle last November.

Handicap debutants Shan’t Wait and Sergeant Fury could easily improve but don’t stand out as being especially well in.

IT’S A CRACKER

⭕ 4.27 Huntingdon: The money buyers have a couple of odds-on shots to get struck into at the top of the card including Nicky Henderson’s Nativehill who shaped well on debut when second at Newbury.

The handicap hurdle at 4.27 looks the most competitive race of the day across all three venues but throws up a couple of interesting runners.

I have to keep Cracker Star on the right side of. In the main because the Harry Derham trained runners are going so well at the moment with six winners from their last 23 runners.

This one is re-united with Paul O’Brien on handicap debut having had a couple of starts under a conditional rider. It wouldn’t be the biggest shock to see an improvement in form and he looks a lot less exposed than many here.

I also want to include Jim De Sarti who has an interesting CV. He was a bumper winner in France, moved to Nicky Henderson and is now with Tom Lacey who has his yard in good form.

There was plenty to like about Jim De Sarti’s Sedgefield second in a race where the front two pulled 17 lengths clear.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
