MONDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews JUVENTUS v VERONA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
JUVENTUS V VERONA
7.45pm It’s the start of another massive week from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE, and we kick it off with Monday night football from Serie A. Juventus host Verona with the home side coming into the game with some excellent momentum. They’ve won their last four in Serie A, and they finally moved into the top four with Lazio dropping points recently. Lazio also have a very difficult fixture on this matchday as they have to play away to AC Milan on Sunday night. This could be a good chance for Juventus to take a massive step forward in the race for Champions League spots.
Verona have been struggling this season; they come into this matchday sitting five points ahead of the relegation zone. Their under-lining numbers are quite poor – they have an average xG created of just 1.16 this season, which is the fifth worst attacking figure. They probably don’t have to worry about being under immense pressure in the relegation race, but they aren’t far enough away to not worry at all about it. It’s not a surprise to see Juventus come into the game as the red-hot favourites – the home win is trading 1.33 with Verona 13.0 and the draw is 5.8 at the time of writing.
Juventus have been exceptionally tough to beat this season – only one loss away to Napoli for the whole Serie A season thus far. Obviously they have had too many draws, which is why they aren’t involved in the title race. Their average xG created has been steadily increasing though which is a hugely positive sign, and they are starting to win games too. Five wins from their last six Serie A games, including beating both the Milan sides too. It’s hard to see past a Juventus win here, but there’s no prizes for tipping 1.33 shots so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value.
Verona have been exceptionally poor at the back this season – they have conceded the most goals in Serie A this season – the average is over two per game. They have a poor average xG conceded figure too, and with Juventus playing full of confidence at the moment I feel they can cover the handicap here. They are trading 1.98 -1.5 goals which looks cracking value given how poor Verona have been at the back. That’s worth a confident bet to start the week from Europe!
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Juventus -1.5 goals to beat Verona at 1.98 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
