FOUR WINNERS: 58 POINTS PROFIT: No sooner had Daqman finished a winner-a-day streak for nine days on Saturday than he started two winners a day on Sunday and followed up with the same on Monday from just three bets. There was a winning nap each day and a total profit of almost 58 points!

STARS OF THE 2024 SEASON: Today Daqman updates you on the Classic scene with the triple purpose of following the star players: top trainer, leading jockey and winningmost sires. The usual suspects of Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore, Charlie Appleby and William Buick, have only one strike each. Play resumes after Royal Ascot.

KARL BURKE KING OF CLASSICS

MAN FLEW TIME

⭕ 7.15 Lingfield Laoisman has been earning his keep with some aplomb over six furlongs and looked a little unlucky at Windsor last time out not to complete a four-timer.

It looks an intriguing move by connections to drop back in trip to the minimum distance but I can see the thinking. He travels really well in his races and does it quite easily – he also has speed to burn. Staggering to think, with hindsight, his first two races came over a mile!

Harry Brown has to be a danger based on his overall form but has just lacked some spark in his latest two efforts on turf.

THAT’S THE SPIRIT

⭕ 8.00 Wolverhampton There are many here that are struggling for recent winning form and that includes the selection Oriental Spirit but there was enough to like about his Kempton fourth last time out to suggest he can land this.

The problem, in his case, is ‘last time out’ was 216 days ago but that is more than factored into his Betdaq Betting Exchange price.

He won at Kempton in 2022 off a mark of 13lb higher and off a career low mark today tempts me in.

Glory Call has regressed in two starts this season at Newcastle and Catterick and the first time headgear will need to work some magic.

I thought a bigger danger might come from Dequinto who remains a maiden after 10 starts but has bits and pieces of form that puts him in contention.

IT’S STILL PARTIRO TIME

⭕ 9.00 Wolverhampton It’s hard to look beyond the ultra consistent Con Te Partiro whose winning run came to an end at Chelmsford last time out when he was attempting a four-timer.

Two of his three wins though came here over course and distance and whilst the handicapper has nudged him up another pound for his defeat – overall he looks to have been fairly lenient – to get three wins in the bandwidth of just 6lb takes some doing these days.

The visor is also on for the first time tonight and if that ekes out some improvement he should be able to resume winning ways at the chief expense of One Cool Dreamer who has been running respectfully enough in a slightly higher grade.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
