An Irish Point winner and maiden-hurdle scorer at Lingfield, he has the same sire and dam’s sire as the recent King George winner, Banbridge.

Despite his age (12 at the time, 13 now), Saint Xavier won the Last Fling (of 2024) Handicap at Haydock over today’s CD and is still rated 11lb lower than his previous success on the course in 2022; then deduct Charlie Maggs 5lb claim. But he’s never won back to back before.
There has been no respite from the handicapper for 12-year-old Amateur, dropped only 3b for his run of PPP1PPPP. It will give me the pip if he wins!
