10-1 AND 3-1 FOR THE TIPPING KING: Though his nap didn’t get a clear run yesterday – after five in a row – king of the tipsters Daqman fired in three more winners, with Serena Grae (WON 10-1), King Calypso (WON 3-1) and Sympathy (WON 4-9) to make 32 points profit in two days.

CESAREWITCH ABC GUIDE TOMORROW: Look out tomorrow for an ABC stats, form and facts check from Daqman on one of the last big handicaps of the season, Saturday’s Cesarewitch.

‘REBEL’ BIG VALUE AT 13.0 OFFERS

NOTTINGHAM The abnormally big fields for Colwick Park today mean one thing to punters betting in sprints: a high draw.

And the double-figure stalls in the nursery (2.50) look sure to be towed along by Dad’s Girl; and Flicka’s Boy, for the in-form yard of Tony Coyle (two wins from three still standing), is likely to go with her.

Dad’s Girl failed to last Beverley’s stiff 5f before making all in a small-field at Musselburgh but ‘Flicka’ saw Beverley out well when he won there last time out.

However, the man with a hold on what will surely be a fast-run race is David Elsworth who saddles two from high gates, top-weight Ivors Rebel (12) and Honcho (15), both of whom have also made all the running.

Ivor’s Rebel is highly regarded, running well when sent to The Curragh for a big auction race over a furlong-and-a-half further than today, just fading out at the business end, but returning to the winner’s enclosure last time out.

You can’t back one Elzie horse without the other, particularly with Graham Lee booked for Honcho. Betdaq makes it easy this morning, with offers of 13.0 Ivor’s Rebel and 22.0 Honcho.

The early-mouse BETDAQ market got it right yesterday with Sympathy in a two-year-old race. Now I see 7.4 bar Spiriting in the Nottingham opener (2.20); one for Daq Multiples.

Bold (3.50) and Black Granite (4.25) were also short among the five consecutive races for juveniles on this card. The snag with making them substantial individual bets is that we don’t know how much rain will get into the ground; a change of going can change two-year-old form.

LUDLOW Though 3-1 (paper forecast) in the trade paper, Sternrubin (2.00 Ludlow) was odds on in the orange early mouse for a quick start over hurdles after switching from the Flat.

And Upsanddowns (2.30) continued a day of half a dozen very hot favourites. Get on them with mixed bets on DAQ MULTIPLES (currently 0% commission).

Kim Bailey will have Mrs Peachey (3.30) ready for her return, as she goes particularly well when fresh, is back to her class and racing against her own sex.

Bailey has made a cracking start to the season with a 30% (hurdles) to 40% (chases) strike rate. But I’m having two bets at around 6.0 each.

It’s also the seasonal debut of Dark Spirit in this race. Since he won it last year and leading Ludlow trainer Evan Williams’ yard is absolutely flying right now, I theorise that she, too, will be aiming at this target.

TOWCESTER This is Bailey’s old stamping ground and he has maintained a high strike-rate here, after moving to Gloucester. Gold Man (5.15) in the last is his sole contender on the course today.

In fact, it’s a day for the travelling man: Gordon Elliott is over from Ireland with I C Gold (3.40) and Victor Dartnall makes the long haul from Devon with first-time-blinkered Unefille de Guye (3.10).

KEMPTON TONIGHT My man in the long glass says that Convey (6.55) has been steaming up his bins on the gallops and should scoot in first time, with the only market threat, Lethal Legacy, seen to go backwards on his second start.

DAQMAN’S BETS (each to win 20 point, except the banker and multiples)
BET 1.8pts win and place IVOR’S REBEL and 1pt win and place HONCHO (1.50 Nottingham)
BET 4pts win on each DARK SPIRIT and MRS PEACHEY (3.30 Ludlow)
BANKER: BET 20pts win (nap) CONVEY (6.55 Kempton)
DAQ MULTIPLES: 3 x 2pt win doubles and 1pt win treble Sternrubin (2.00 Ludlow), Spiriting (2.20 Nottingham), Convey (6.55 Kempton)
