DREAM START TO THE WEEK: Winner-a-day Daqman landed one strike from three bets for the second day running to show a profit of 10.10 points overall from Willolarupi (WON 4-1) on Monday and Honour Your Dreams (WON 5-2) yesterday.
OFFICER IN COMMAND: Twain has been ruled out of Saturday’s Irish 2,000 Guineas after a bad scope and Listed winner Officer is expected to be Ryan Moore’s mount for Aidan O’Brien. Field Of Gold will be ridden by Colin Keane.
TWO TO FOLLOW
⭕ 4.42 Ayr Single digit field sizes are the order of the day with the exception of the 14 runner seven furlong handicap where I am putting up two against the field for a WIN 20 return on Betdaq Betting Exchange.
Firstly, I wanted to be against the morning favourite Little Empire who was a course winner last year over a mile but is now 10lb higher and has been plying his trade recently at Dundalk with some consistent efforts but has yet to face ground as quick as this in his career.
Inanna is interesting after only going up 2lb for his Ayr win earlier in the month. He holds Trais Fluors (3rd), Classing (5th) and Golden Valour (6th) on that form and should confirm those placings.
As I said on Monday Jim Goldie is in great form, although on the same day I was pipped with his Water Of Leith who was beaten a short head 🙁
I have to take a chance on the fitness of John L Sullivan on his first start for 196 days and post wind surgery but the morning market signals were positive and there’s no doubt he’s talented enough to land this and still capable of finding further improvement.
WATCHING DRAMA UNFOLD
⭕ 8.10 Kempton Drama is napped to continue his good record here of 3151.
He’s a huge class dropper having competed at class 2 and 3 levels in his last four races and was only beaten a neck in a class 3 at Southwell last time out.
He’s also entered up for Windsor on Monday so trainer James Ferguson keen to get another run into him.
STAY WITH THE LOCALS
⭕ 8.30 Brighton Local Bay’s form was beginning to tail off with his handicap mark also plummeting but he was a good second here last time and can take advantage of racing off the same handicap mark tonight.
He’s living up to his name having raced 11 times here, winning twice, at what can be one of the quirkiest venues in the UK.
Havanna Mojito is the obvious danger after his easy course win last month but the handicapper has raised him a brutal 8lb.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
