FA CUP: We preview Saturday’s FA Cup Quarter Finals between SWANSEA V TOTTENHAM and MANCHESTER UNITED V BRIGHTON with recommended BETDAQ bets.
SWANSEA V TOTTENHAM
12.15pm We have a very busy day today with FA Cup and Premier League action, and we start with Swansea v Spurs! This will be a very interesting match, as the sad news broke midweek that Harry Kane will be out injured. That will obviously be a huge blow for Spurs as they look to finish the season strongly, and he had been scoring goals for fun too. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Swansea 8.4, Tottenham 1.5 and the draw is 4.6.
Spurs bounced back from being 1-0 behind last weekend to beat Bournemouth 4-1, and that would have been nice comeback after crashing out of the Champions League. Swansea have been in very solid form lately though, and while they might be drawing plenty of games – they are hard to beat at the moment. With home advantage here and Spurs without Kane, we feel that the 1.5 on an away win is simply too short. From a value point of view, we have to lay Spurs.

MANCHESTER UNITED V BRIGHTON
7.45pm All eyes will be on Manchester United this weekend after crashing out of the Champions League during the week. They simply weren’t good enough, and the tactics of Jose Mourinho obviously have to come into question – they were too negative in front of their home fans. They are somewhat lucky to “only” have to face Brighton at home this weekend as it’s a relatively easy fixture, however if they were to lose it would really be an embarrassing week for the club.
The markets are confident that United win, with the match odds at the time of writing; Manchester United 1.34, Brighton 12.5 and the draw 5.6. Brighton have been playing well lately, and will be no pushover here. Ultimately though, United should get the job done, however we feel that there is value being with Brighton here. With United obviously low on confidence after the Champions League result, we’re happy to back Brighton on the handicap – they’re 1.95 +1.5 goals and we feel that they can keep this one close.
