INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY: We preview Wednesday’s game between GERMANY v ENGLAND with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

GERMANY V ENGLAND

7.45pm Most International breaks now come with “glamour ties” like this one, although it’s hard to know how much the players really care about ties like this. Both sides will obviously have an eye on their World Cup Qualifiers this weekend, and even though there is quite a rivalry here, we can’t see any players risking injury for the weekend. So the tempo might be a bit slow for this one, and the odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Germany 1.77, England 5.3 while the draw is 4.0.

England have a pretty easy game this weekend at home to Lithuania, and with Gareth Southgate hoping to impress as England manager – maybe it will be England who field the stronger side here. Germany haven’t been too strong in home friendly’s lately either – losing four of their last eight. It’s hard to know what to make of that stat as they’ve won their most recent home friendly games. With no real opinion on the match odds market, we feel that backing unders could be the value here, with under 2.5 goals trading as big as 2.14. In a game that might lack intensity, and England without Harry Kane, we could have a quiet affair before the important games this weekend.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.14.
