PREVIEW

In many people’s eyes the Scottish Premier League is already over with Celtic as short as 1.01 on BETDAQ to retain their crown. The demotion of Rangers has made the title race effectively a one-horse race but there is still much to play for around the bottom of the table.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle take on Ross County tonight in a tricky looking tie for punters to call. Until last week’s extraordinary 5-4 loss to St Mirren, County had not conceded a goal away from home.

Only St Mirren with ten goals have scored more goals than Inverness’ eight at home and they have scored 10 of their 15 goals this season in the second half of matches. Aside from scoring goals, Thistle are also developing a habit of picking up red cards, with a league-high of four already this term.

Ross County have been involved in four 0-0 draws this season, more than any other team while six of Inverness’ ten competitive matches this season have ended in a draw.

After an encouraging start Ross County have lost three and drawn two of their last five competitive matches, after going unbeaten in their first four in 2012-13 (W1 D3).

The layers fancy goals in this with over 2.5 goals around 1.87 on BETDAQ and, after the nine-goal thriller County were involved in last time out and Inverness’ 4-0 drubbing of Dundee Utd on the weekend, we are inclined to agree.

However, a small play on Inverness to win 3-1 is trading at 22 on the DAQ and that has to be worth a small play.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Inverness to win 3-1 at around 22 on BETDAQ: 1 point

Thursday: +3.42 points

OCTOBER RETURN TO DATE: +10.72 points
