PREVIEW
A win for either Motherwell or Hibernian tonight in their Scottish Premier League clash would be more than welcomed by players and fans alike, as both teams are struggling at present.

Motherwell have lost the last three on the bounce without scoring and Hibernian only have two wins in their last five matches, losing both their most recent games away from home.

Hibs have only won three of the last ten clashes between the pair and only one of those was at Fir Park Stadium.

In team news Well’s Shaun Hutchinson is out with a hamstring injury, but fellow centre-back Adam Cummings returns from suspension. Steven Saunders continues to be unavailable his following knee surgery.

Hibs defender Tim Clancy could make his return from a groin strain against his former club. Clancy missed the 3-2 loss at Ross County last time out for a groin injury, but is back in training. Midfielder Gary Deegan remains sidelined.

Defender Ryan McGivern has called for his teammates to bounce back from that defeat at Ross County but it’s a big question whether they have the talent to do that.

There have been some high-scoring games in recent years, most memorably the 6-6 draw here two years ago but tonight’s game looks likely to be a poor quality affair and backing under 2.5 goals may be worth a tentative punt.
