Liverpool go in search of their seventh straight away win in all competitions tonight at Craven Cottage and Kenny Dalglish’s revitalised Reds are 2.06 favourites on BETDAQ to achieve it.
They won 5-2 at the Cottage last season, a result which completed the league double over Fulham, as Maxi Rodriguez ran riot and helped himself to a hat-trick.
Martin Jol’s men, available at 4.0, come into this game on the back of draws at Sunderland and Arsenal, but the Dutchman will be troubled by Fulham’s home record this term. They lost both of their last two games in SW6 3-1, to Everton and Spurs, and they have only won once in front of their own fans in the Premier League, an uncharacteristic 6-0 thumping of QPR.
The Cottagers are struggling to replicate the form that saw them finish eighth last term: from averaging 1.29 points-per-game in 2010/11, they have taken just 0.92 this year.
However, Jol would no doubt be satisfied with a point tonight and, with both sides partial to a stalemate, that could be the result to back, at 3.55 on BETDAQ. Fulham have drawn six of their 13 league contests; Liverpool have played the same number and tied five times, including four of their last six games.
