PREVIEW

After a poor start to the season that saw Arsenal win just once in five league games, Arsene Wenger has finally got his side into gear. Arsenal will need to find yet another level as they travel to Stamford Bridge next to face Chelsea.

The Gunners have won just once in their last six league visits to Stamford Bridge, and have lost on four of those occasions, including 2-0 in each of the previous two campaigns.

Many of the Gunners’ decent performances have been at the Emirates, but there remains huge concern when away from home. The Gunners have the joint-worst away record in the league after securing just one point from their four league outings.

Andre Villas-Boas’ side have been formidable at home and will be relishing the contest. Chelsea have taken maximum points from four fixtures at the Bridge, winning those games by an average margin of two goals, and another win here can be backed at 1.66 on BETDAQ.

There will be some concern that despite winning six of nine games this season, the Blues have managed just one clean sheet, while Arsenal have failed to score only twice, so an entertaining game looks on the cards.

Chelsea will need to keep a close eye on Robin Van Persie, who cannot stop scoring at the minute. The Dutchman has scored six times in his last four league appearances and will be the Gunners’ best chance of getting something from the contest.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back Chelsea at around 1.66: 5 points
Friday’s Return: +4.8
