PREVIEW
Andre Villas-Boas slow start to life as Tottenham boss is well and truly in the past and he will fancy his chances of getting one over on his old team Chelsea when the Blues visit White Hart Lane in the lunchtime kick-off today.

Villas-Boas has surely been itching to play Chelsea ,who dumped him as boss last season, and with the Premier League’s two most in-form sides going head-to-head, we should be set for a cracker.

Chelsea have opened up a four-point lead over the Manchester sides under Roberto Di Matteo, but Spurs have matched their form recently, with both clubs winning four and drawing one of their last five league games.

Spurs have won four on the bounce, including a long-awaited victory at Old Trafford and they should be confident of clocking up another triumph. The hosts haven’t lost a league game to the West Londoners at home since August 2005.

Di Matteo is without suspended captain John Terry for the trip across the capital as he starts his FA ban for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand and, despite Younes Kaboul and Scott Parker remaining sidelined and doubts over Benoit Assou-Ekotto’s, Villas-Boas will be happy with his options.

Aside from a win against Arsenal at the Emirates, in which they were the benefactors of sloppy Gunners’ defending rather than outplaying the hosts, Chelsea have hardly had a tough campaign so far and are vulnerable to a buoyant Spurs.

At around 2.63 on BETDAQ Tottenham can inflict a first league loss on Chelsea.
