PREVIEW
Today’s early kick-off sees an out-of-form Chelsea travel the short distance to Upton Park to face a resilient West Ham side.
Chelsea will be keen to get back to winning ways following two dull goalless draws against Manchester City and Fulham. The Blues are clearly not firing on all cylinders and are desperate for some inspiration in front of goal. Misfiring striker Fernando Torres will be boosted by the fact that he has scored six goals in as many games against the Hammers.
Sam Allardyce’s men were beaten 1-0 by current league leaders Manchester United on Wednesday night at Old Trafford and, although they conceded after 33 seconds, they made life difficult for the Red Devils. The London club had chances to equalise and will be confident of taking at least at point against Rafael Benitez’s side today if they can repeat that sort of performance. O-loan striker Andy Carroll is sure to pose a threat at set pieces against a team that has conceded 38% of their goals through headers this season.
All things considered, the draw at around 3.55 on BETDAQ looks good value, especially as the Blues have drawn four of their last five league games.
