Arsenal’s season has begun inauspiciously, with back-to-back goalless draws against Sunderland and Stoke, and there looks like being more trouble around the corner this weekend.
Visits to Anfield have been kind on the Gunners in recent years, with two wins in the past three seasons, but Liverpool will be encouraged by their opponents’ failings in front of goal.
The loss of Robin van Persie is being keenly felt. Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski are waiting to make their mark and, although Liverpool have conceded five times in their opening two games, they will be confident of outscoring the Gunners.
The Reds should have beaten Manchester City last weekend and they look a decent bet at 2.15 on BETDAQ with Luis Suarez hitting form after two goals in the last week.
