PREVIEW
Bayern Munich could be just 180 minutes away from setting up a historic Champions League final at the Allianz Arena, although Real Madrid will be looking to spoil the party in the German capital.

Jupp Heynckes’ side have suffered a couple of poor results in the Bundesliga that has seen Borussia Dortmund take a commanding eight point lead in the title race. A 1-0 defeat to the league leaders and a goalless draw at home to Mainz underlines the concerns and the hosts will need to find their shooting boots ahead of Real’s visit. Bayern do boast of a solid record against Madrid at home and they’ve won four of their last five when in Germany.

Real Madrid also suffered a couple of below-par results in the league, but an impressive win against Athletico Madrid and a late fightback against Sporting Gijon has seen them rediscover their form just in time. Jose Mourinho has guided his team to 20 games without a defeat – a run stretching back to the middle of January.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored again on the weekend to take his tally to 53 goals in all competitions and he’ll be the main threat to Bayern’s back four.

Even though the goals have dried up over the past few games, Bayern have been unstoppable in Europe this season. The hosts come into the clash having won their past six home European matches, but their dip in league form suggests backing the sides to be level at the final whistle at 3.45 on BETDAQ is the best option.
