AC Milan are unbeaten in Serie A since December and can close the gap on second-place Napoli to just two points with a win tonight away at Genoa.
Milan have been in superb form of late, beating Barcelona 2-0 in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash, and thumping Lazio 3-0 last weekend.
Their rivals and hosts later, Genoa, are still not out of danger at the bottom of the table, despite being five points clear of the three bottom clubs, who are all on 21 points. Their five match unbeaten run was brought to a halt on Sunday with a 3-1 reverse to Roma.
The Red-Blues have lost more games at home (six) than they’ve won (4) and the call has to be to oppose them against a classy Milan side who are finding their feet after a slow start to the season.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men won’t have given up on overturning Juventus’ 11-point lead at the top of the table and will be dreaming of continental glory after that brilliant win over Barca.
