PREVIEW
After yesterday’s dramatic Championship play-off semi-final between Leicester and Watford more heartbreak and ecstasy is on the line today for one set of players and fans when Brighton take on Crystal Palace with the tie delicately balanced at 0-0 after Friday’s first leg. The winners will play the Hornets for the multi-million pound prize of Premier League football next term.

That draw kept up Brighton’s impressive form – the Seagulls are unbeaten in their last ten games – and Gus Poyet’s improvers haven’t lost a home game in 2013. Palace travel to the seaside without a win in their last five play-off fixtures and they look up against it with the hosts boasting the tightest defence in the Championship, conceding just 43 goals.

The Eagles have lost just one of their last four trips to Brighton but it was the 3-0 reverse this season and the away team has failed to net in all three meetings between the sides this season.

Friday’s goalless stalemate was the seventh of Brighton’s season but on home turf they should have the measure of Ian Holloway’s men. Palace won just six away games in the league all season and the hosts look the one to be with at around 1.85 on BETDAQ.
