You can tell there are internationals later in the week when the televised game is Wolves v Notts County in the JPT Trophy. And that’s not meant to be disrespectful of either team, just a frustration of how the international games put the domestic season into stop/start mode.
We still can’t get used to Wolves in League One. How the mighty have fallen but they’ve made a bright start to this season with 25 points from 10 games and are pretty warm favourites with BETDAQ to win the league in what already looks a two horse race between them and Peterborough.
Notts County on the otherhand have not started well and are in 19th spot – but did gain a confidence boosting 4-0 win against Crewe on Saturday.
The question to consider if you want to back Wolves at short odds – is how important is this match to them. On the formbook they should win easily but their focus is clearly on securing a berth into the Championship.
We think they’ll but prefer to take 2.48 on HT/FT rather than around 1.6 for the straight win.
