PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview tonight’s 8pm clash at Selhurst Park between CRYSTAL PALACE and ARSENAL with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm This should be an interesting clash for Monday Night Football! Southampton stopped the good run that Crystal Palace had going last time out, however the addition of Mamadou Sakho has vastly improved them and they did beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge before that. So it should be a tough night for Arsenal, who managed a win last time out against the struggling West Ham, but overall must remain low on confidence.
The match odds at the time of writing currently stand at: Crystal Palace 4.7, Arsenal 1.83 and the draw is 4.0. Looking at the stats, there are reasons to be against both sides. Palace have only managed four wins at home all season, however two of them came in their last two games, and with Sakho making them solid at the back – maybe there are reasons to believe they can keep improving that home record.
Meanwhile Arsenal are still going through their own club crisis where half the fans want Wenger out and half support him. The hard fact is that they’ve lost five of their last seven away games, and that will make Arsenal a very good lay at 1.83 for many punters. We tend to agree too, Palace have looked solid at the back recently and to only allow Chelsea one goal at Stamford Bridge is very impressive.
Over 2.5 goals is very tempting at 1.72 too though, and we feel it is a decision between that bet and the Arsenal lay for our best bet. Arsenal have seen plenty of goals in their recent games, with over 2.5 goals in all six of their last games in all competitions. Add this to how many they have conceded away from home too, and you have to think that there will be lots in this one. Both Teams To Score is only 1.7, so we’re happy to go with over 2.5 goals at 1.72.
