PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets. We’re off to a flier with the North London Derby between ARSENAL v SPURS at 12.30pm.

ARSENAL V TOTTENHAM

12.30pm It was a tense week for the World Cup Playoffs but what a way to welcome back the Premier League with a North London Derby! Don’t forget too that all bets on each 12-30pm Premier League kick off are 0% commission on BETDAQ, so let’s find a winner! Looking at the stats, there’s been a lot of draws recently between these two, with Arsenal’s last win in the league coming back in 2013/14. Having home advantage is a big thing Arsenal though looking at their away record, and you can understand punters wanting to back Arsenal given that they have won their last ten in a row here in the league. Many will fancy Spurs with the way that they have played this season, however they continue to have a poor away record against the top six and with that in mind – along with Arsenal’s home record – we feel that the best bet here is to lay Spurs at 2.98.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Tottenham at 2.98.

BOURNEMOUTH V HUDDERSFIELD

3pm Both these sides are towards the top of the table for distance covered – a stat that Manchester United have been very poor for two seasons – however Huddersfield have had better results from their labour and sit five points ahead of Bournemouth in the table. Huddersfield have been struggling for goals away from home though, and that could be the crucial factor here. However, with Bournemouth only trading 1.9 and struggling for goals too, it’s difficult to fully commit to backing them at odds on. This should be a pretty close affair, with possibly both sides cancelling each other out, and with under 2.5 goals trading 1.78 that looks big enough for us to back.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.78.

BURNLEY V SWANSEA

3pm This is a big game for Swansea, the type of game where they need to pick up some points as they sit down in 19th. It will be tough for Swansea to win away from home, however Burnley have only managed three goals in their five home games this season. To be fair to Burnley, they have edged out some very close games this season, and won 1-0 on a handful of occasions, most recently at Southampton and prior to that Newcastle here and Everton away. Swansea seem to be offering up chances to sides, and with Burnley not scoring many but defending well, it is Swansea’s mistakes that could be the deciding factor here. With Burnley trading as big as 2.16, we’re happy to back a home win at those odds, it should be a close game, but we expect Burnley to edge it just like they have done against better sides in recent weeks.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Burnley to beat Swansea at 2.16.

CRYSTAL PALACE V EVERTON

3pm If it wasn’t for the North London Derby, this would be the most interesting game of the weekend! It’s the most open market though, with the match odds at the time of writing; Crystal Palace 2.52, Everton 3.3 and the draw 3.3 too. Both sides have obviously been struggling, and have produced shock wins in recent games. It has however, been a while now since Palace surprised Chelsea – however what a surprise it was to see Everton come back from 2-0 down against Watford! Everton are without a win in their last 13 games away from home, and with Palace showing signs of improving lately, we simply have to be against Everton here. The late comeback against Watford doesn’t solve the fact that their squad looks unbalanced. The Everton lay is appealing at 3.3 but we’re happy to risk a Palace back at 2.52.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Crystal Palace to beat Everton at 2.52.

LEICESTER V MANCHESTER CITY

3pm Remember this fixture last season? Leicester absolutely thrashed City! However, City seem to be a different animal this year and the markets can’t see another upset. They’re currently trading as short as 1.37, and to be honest looking at the way they are playing this season it’s hard to see anyone stopping them in their current form. After International breaks, you can always get funny results, however with the goals that Leicester have conceded this season and Manchester City’s counter attacking, we feel that the 1.96 on City to cover the 1.5 goals handicap is just too big and looks bet of the day material.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -1.5 goals to beat Leicester at 1.96.

LIVERPOOL V SOUTHAMPTON

3pm Southampton sank to yet another home defeat last time out against Burnley, they continue to struggle for goals and it’s hard to see them turning things around here. Southampton will be hoping that Liverpool give them chances from set pieces, however they remain unbeaten at Anfield in all competitions this season and with the way Southampton are playing, it’s difficult to see anything but a Liverpool win here. They’re trading 2.24 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap and that looks massive, considering that Southampton have really struggled for goals and the way Liverpool attack at home, we can’t resist the 2.24 and see this being all one way traffic.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool -1.5 goals to beat Southampton at 2.24.

WEST BROM V CHELSEA

3pm Chelsea bounced back from an embarrassing defeat to Roma by beating Manchester United prior to the International break, and they can notch up another win here against an out-of-form West Brom side. West Brom are without a win in their last nine in the league, losing five of these games and there’s even been talk of a manager change. Sacking Pulis would be a shock, however they are sitting in 16th and it only take a few very bad results these days once you get down towards the bottom of the table, as we seen with West Ham! The International break would have helped break the momentum, however with Chelsea scoring goals and West Brom struggling for them, the 1.65 looks good away for the away win.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat West Brom at 1.65.

MANCHESTER UNITED V NEWCASTLE

5.30pm It’s been a while since we seen this fixture in the Premier League, and it will bring back some great memories for people. Newcastle don’t arrive into Old Trafford in good form though, they’ve only managed one win in their last six games and considering United have won all of the home games this season, it’s hard to see anything but a United win here. Newcastle have been pretty solid at the back though, and that’s an important point to note before we go rushing to back United to cover the 1.5 goal handicap at 1.95. Under 2.5 goals is trading bigger at 2.02, which looks good value. We expect Newcastle to come here to defend and they’ve done that pretty well this season, so we can see them frustrating United – especially in the first half. We still expect a home win, however the value looks to be on the unders.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.02.
