SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games including a cracking opener at the Etihad between MAN CITY v LIVERPOOL. Each game includes a recommended BETDAQ bet.

MANCHESTER CITY V LIVERPOOL

12.30pm As always, the 12-30PM kick off in the Premier League is 0% commission on BETDAQ, and what an absolute cracker we have this week! The International break may have broken some sides momentum – Jurgen Klopp wouldn’t have enjoyed it anyway as his side scored eight goals in their two games before it! This should be a very close affair, and City look to be a bit short in the betting. The match odds at the time of writing trade; Manchester City 1.91, Liverpool 4.3 and the draw is 4.0.

City haven’t exactly set the world on fire on their opening games, they drew with Everton here, laboured to score against Brighton and needed a stoppage time goal to beat Bournemouth. Compare this to Liverpool who thrashed Arsenal in their last game very impressively. City don’t have a strong record against the top six since Guardiola took over and we feel that this trend will continue. With City at 1.91, we’re happy to lay those odds – this one will be closer than those odds suggest.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester City at 1.91.

ARSENAL V BOURNEMOUTH

3pm This is a massive game for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal. They were played off the park against Liverpool before the International break, got beaten by Stoke before that and we’re slightly embarrassed by their deadline day tactics. If they don’t score early, you could see the crowd turning on them, the atmosphere isn’t all rosy in the stands as it is! Bournemouth were so close to holding City to a draw at home in their last game, however the fact is they are now on three losses from three games – disappointingly for them two of these came against Watford and West Brom. Arsenal are usually solid at home, and they should really be able to out-class this Bournemouth side and ease the pressure on the manager. They’re currently 2.0 -1.5 goals and that looks good value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal -1.5 goals to beat Bournemouth at 2.0.

BRIGHTON V WEST BROM

3pm Brighton picked up their first point of the Premier League season before the International break when drawing 0-0 with Watford. That was a decent result away from home, however they are still yet to find the net after three games and offer very little going forward. A draw here might be their best bet again against a solid team like West Brom, however looking at the odds – we cannot get away from West Brom at 3.05. They had a good transfer window, and have already picked up seven points from the nine available – with Brighton offering little going forward, we fancy West Brom to grind out the win here. It’s worth checking the West Brom 1-0 scoreline price too in the correct score market before kick off.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Brom to beat Brighton at 3.05.

EVERTON V TOTTENHAM

3pm This is a great fixture and it’s a shame it’s not on a high profile TV slot. Everton have had a really tough start to the season fixing list wise. They would have been delighted to get a point away to Manchester City, however were comfortably beaten by Chelsea after that. At home to Spurs, who haven’t started the season in good form, they will fancy their chances of getting a result. Spurs were disappointing when drawing 1-1 to Burnley before the International break, and with Everton having a good transfer window and improving their squad – we’re happy to take a chance and lay Spurs at 2.18 here in what should be a close game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Tottenham at 2.18.

LEICESTER V CHELSEA

3pm This is another superb game for a 3PM Saturday kick off. Leicester have lost two of their opening three games, however these have come against Arsenal and Manchester United – maybe it’s a sign that they can’t compete with the top six anymore after their wonderful title winning season. Chelsea had a woeful start when losing at home to Burnley and getting two men sent off, however they have bounced back strongly and steadied their ship with solid wins against Spurs and Everton. Chelsea look the stronger of the two sides at the back, with Leicester conceding six goals against United and Arsenal – it’s for that reason we feel Chelsea will win here and the 1.83 on offer looks a shade of value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat Leicester at 1.83.

SOUTHAMPTON V WATFORD

3pm Watford would have been bitterly disappointed to only draw at home to Brighton before the International break, however they did lose a man and with Southampton struggling to score at the moment, they’ll fancy themselves to get a result here. Southampton look very short in the match odds market to us, with the odds at the time of writing; Southampton 1.67, Watford 6.2 and the draw 4.1. Southampton struggled for goals at the end of last season, and have already had two 0-0’s in their opening three games this season. We can’t have them at the current odds and are happy to keep things simple and lay 1.67 – this game should be closer than those odds suggest.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 1.67.

STOKE V MANCHESTER UNITED

5.30pm Many punters were writing off Stoke at the start of the season after their transfer dealings. However, you’d have to say that they have performed well in their opening three games – and any talk of the them going down seems gone now. Stoke is always a hard place to come and win, as Arsenal have already found out this season, and with United have things all their own way in their games thus far – it will be interesting to see how they get on this evening.

You’d have to feel though that United are on a different level to Arsenal at the moment, and we shouldn’t read too much into that result for Stoke with respect to that game. United have looked superb in their opening three games – they look very strong and the 1.53 on the away win looks like a weekend banker.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester United to beat Stoke at 1.53.
