PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s three games with recommended BETDAQ bets. It’s WATFORD v CRYSTAL PALACE, FULHAM v BURNLEY and NEWCASTLE v CHELSEA.

WATFORD V CRYSTAL PALACE

1.30pm We kick off Super Sunday with a very open market in what should be a very close game. At the time of writing, the match odds at currently trading; Watford 2.62, Crystal Palace 3.1 and the draw is 3.3. Watford have started the season very well with two wins from two games – they’ve scored five goals too and three came away at Burnley; usually a tough place to win. While Palace started their season well with a 2-0 win away to Fulham but lost 2-0 to Liverpool on Monday night. Plenty of teams will lose to Liverpool this season so we won’t read too much into that – although they performed very well. We can see this being a very close game and although it’s tempting to lay Watford just purely from a value point view; we like the draw at 3.1 to start the day.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.1.

FULHAM V BURNLEY

4pm This is an important game for both sides looking to kick start their season. Fulham have lost their two opening games while conceding five goals – although one of those games did come against Spurs who they can hardly be expected to beat. They went off favourites against Crystal Palace though and got beat and it’s very interesting to see them so short in the market here against a battle hardened Premier League side like Burnley.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Fulham 2.08, Burnley 4.3 and the draw is 3.45. Burnley lost 3-1 last weekend against Watford however it must be noted that they are battling in Europe at the moment too and perhaps that has taken their eye off the ball early in the Premier League season. Even with that being said, we simply cannot have Fulham so short against a side like Burnley – Fulham still have to prove that they are Premier League quality and were happy to lay the home side at 2.08.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Fulham at 2.08.

NEWCASTLE V CHELSEA

4pm After losing their Community Shield against Manchester City, Chelsea are now two from two while scoring six goals. Three of those goals came against Arsenal last weekend and the new manager will definitely be pleased with how things are going. This will be a very different test today as St James’ Park is always a tough place to go and win – however Newcastle have already been beaten by Spurs here on the opening day and they couldn’t beat Cardiff last weekend.

Chelsea are odds on favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Newcastle 5.8, Chelsea 1.71 and the draw is 4.0. Based on what we’ve seen from the two sides in their games this season – we have to side with Chelsea here at 1.71. Newcastle have yet to display anything that could trouble Chelsea, while the blues have been impressive in front of goal. We can see that being the difference here as Chelsea take their chances and Newcastle struggle to break down the Chelsea back line. The 1.71 looks good value.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Chelsea to beat Newcastle at 1.71.
