PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s three Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets. It’s CARDIFF v MAN CITY at 1.30pm and BURNLEY v MAN U and WATFORD v SPURS at 4pm.

CARDIFF CITY V ARSENAL

1.30pm We have a very interesting Super Sunday ahead with three big sides playing away from home – can all three win? We start with Arsenal away to Cardiff City and as we all know these days, backing Arsenal to win away from home is rarely a good idea! Cardiff are only new boys in the Premier League and still finding their feet; however they will be well aware of Arsenal’s troubles away from home and we should see a very good atmosphere here.

Arsenal are heavy favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Cardiff City 6.8, Arsenal 1.59 and the draw is 4.4. Cardiff won’t offer too much going forward here you’d have to imagine, especially early in the game however they have managed two draws from their three games so far in the Premier League and they seem capable of stopping Arsenal here. Arsenal have had a tough start, fixture wise, and until we see them improve away from home we can’t have them at odds as short as today – we’re happy to lay them at 1.59.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Arsenal at 1.59.

BURNLEY V MANCHESTER UNITED

4pm Both these sides suffered heavy defeats on Matchday Three in the Premier League and all eyes will again be focused on Jose Mourinho here. Burnley shipped four goals away to Fulham, while we all know United got beaten 3-0 by Spurs! Looking at the stats and while you might not read it in the media – United were unlucky to lose by such a margin. The Expected Goals (xG) was 1.8 for both sides – Spurs just took their chances better than United. We’re not judging United and Mourinho as quickly as most of the media looking at the stats.

United are odds on to win, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Burnley 6.4, Manchester United 1.7 and the draw is 3.85. Burnley have had a bad start to the season with only one point from three games; that point coming against Southampton who had a poor season last year. More than results, Burnley have been shipping a lot of goals – they conceded Watford at home to Watford and then four to Fulham. If United create the same chances as they did against Spurs, they will surely improve on taking them! We feel that the 1.7 on United is an overreaction and we’re happy to back them today.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester United to beat Burnley at 1.7.

WATFORD V TOTTENHAM

4pm Watford have had an excellent start to the season with three wins from three games and this should be a challenge for Spurs. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Watford 5.8, Tottenham 1.66 and the draw is 4.4. Spurs have also had a great start to the season with three wins from three games as well. You’d have to say that Spurs 100% record is more impressive than Watford’s; with Watford’s three wins coming against Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace. Spurs were impressive in the second half against United on Monday night and anything close to that should see them win easily here.

The one thing we were looking for from Watford last season was more consistency and perhaps it is too early to judge them, however the signs are positive looking at the way they have played. We feel that Spurs offer marginal value at 1.66 however this game screams goals looking at both sides and with over 2.5 goals trading 1.8 we’re happy to back that.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.8.
