PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s two Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet in each. It should be a cracking day with EVERTON v ARSENAL at 1.30pm and Spurs v Liverpool kicking off at 4pm.

EVERTON V ARSENAL

1.30pm We have a very interesting Super Sunday ahead, and we kick it off with the struggling Everton against Arsenal. Things are looking bad at the moment for Everton, they spent so much money in the summer and yet they’ve played appallingly. The interesting thing about this game though is, can we trust Arsenal away from home enough to back them? That’s a tough question. The odds at the time of writing currently trade; Everton 4.0, Arsenal 2.08 and the draw is 3.65.

Arsenal lost to Watford last weekend after being 1-0 ahead meaning that they are still searching for their first Premier League away win this season. They’ve lost three and drew one – ironically against Chelsea. They did manage an away win the Europa League midweek though, and with the way that Everton are playing – maybe it’s worth taking a chance are backing Arsenal here at odds against. Everton have failed to score in four of their last six league games, and with the likes of Burnley and Brighton picking up four points from their last two games against them, surely now is the chance for Arsenal to pick up an away win? The 2.08 looks big enough to back.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat Everton at 2.08.

TOTTENHAM V LIVERPOOL

4pm Much was made about how Jose Mourinho sucked the life out of the Liverpool v Manchester United game last weekend, however the fact is that United sat back and Liverpool created very little. For a home side, they should have created more chances and it was easy to just blame Mourinho for the poor game. Being away might suit Liverpool’s style of play more here though, especially against a side who will attack them. The odds at the time of writing are; Spurs 2.26, Liverpool 3.5 and the draw is 3.65.

Spurs finally got a Premier League win at Wembley against Bournemouth last weekend, before going to Real Madrid and picking up an excellent point. They have been in superb form, especially away from home. If you were considering backing them here at 2.26, that would actually be a slight worry – they’ve been far better away from home than at home this season! Liverpool banged in seven goals midweek in the Champions League, however Maribor are vastly below the level here and before that, they had only won once in their last five games in all competitions. We see this game being very close, and the draw looks to be the value at 3.65 in what should be a decent game to watch.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.65.
