PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Thursday’s Premier League games between BURNLEY V CHELSEA and LEICESTER v SOUTHAMPTON with recommended BETDAQ bets.
BURNLEY V CHELSEA
7.45pm We have a busy week in the Premier League this week and the action continues on Thursday night! After going 11 games without a win, Burnley are now on their best run of the season – they’ve won their last five in a row and with Chelsea having nothing to play for, this is a very interesting market. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Burnley 4.6, Chelsea 1.96 and the draw is 3.6.
Chelsea won their last away game 3-2 against Southampton, however they found themselves 2-0 down before a great comeback. Prior to that they let a one goal lead slip at home to West Ham – they haven’t been themselves this season, and with nothing to play and doubts about the managers staying, it’s fair to say we might see a few mistakes from the players between now and the end of the season. Burnley have really grinded out good results this season, and with Chelsea possibly not 100% focused we have to lay them at 1.96. This is a tough place to come and win, and we feel Chelsea aren’t up to it – they look very short at odds on and a great value lay.

LEICESTER V SOUTHAMPTON
7.45pm The pressure is really on Southampton now. Not many would have seen this coming at the start of the season, but Southampton are now five points away from safety, and really struggling. They were 2-0 up against Chelsea last weekend, only to lose 3-2 late on and that would have been a big shock and disappointment to the team given their situation. Leicester aren’t in great form though, and they will fancy their chances of collecting three points here.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Leicester 2.32, Southampton 3.35 and the draw is 3.6. Southampton have hit terrible form at the worst time possible for them – they’ve lost their four Premier League games and conceded three goals in every game. They’ve only had one win in their last 20 games, and that came against West Brom who sit nailed to the bottom of the table. Leicester have possibly finished their season early given the way they have been playing, but we can’t have Southampton at these odds based on what we’ve seen this season. They have been consistently overbet this season and we have to lay them again.
