PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Wednesday’s Premier League games between CHELSEA V HUDDERSFIELD, LEICESTER V ARSENAL, MANCHESTER CITY V BRIGHTON and TOTTENHAM v NEWCASTLE with recommended BETDAQ bets.
CHELSEA V HUDDERSFIELD
7.45pm We’re getting closer to the end of the Premier League season and we have a couple of interesting games tonight. We start with a very important game for both sides as Chelsea take on Huddersfield. Chelsea are still fighting for a top four spot and will have had their confidence boosted after seeing the results at the weekend, while Huddersfield are still fighting to stay in the Premier League. Huddersfield’s goal difference is a worry for them, and it’s likely that we’ll see Chelsea win here and their faith will go right down to the final day when they will face Arsenal at home. Huddersfield have been poor away from home, and poor in front of goal – and with Chelsea finishing the season strongly and pushing for a top four spot – we expect Chelsea to cover the handicap here. They’re currently trading 2.0 -2 goals on the Asian handicap (stakes void if they win by exactly two) and that looks great value.

LEICESTER V ARSENAL
7.45pm Arsenal gave Arsene Wenger a wonderful home send off at the weekend when thrashing Burnley 5-0 and they will be hoping to continue to finish the season strongly. Leicester suffered yet another defeat at the weekend when losing 2-0 here to West Ham; that means they’re without a win in five and they are really finishing their season “on the beach” as they say. In their last three home games, they’ve lost to West Ham and Newcastle, and only drew with Southampton who have been poor this season. Obviously Arsenal have played terribly away from home this season, however it’s impossible to back Leicester looking at the way that they are playing at the moment. It’s risky to back Arsenal away from home but we’re going to take a chance on them here at 2.04.

MANCHESTER CITY V BRIGHTON
8pm Manchester City short odds backers suffered a huge setback at the weekend when they could only draw 0-0 with Huddersfield. As is the way at this stage of the season, the team were getting the trophy at the end of the game and maybe their focus wasn’t 100% on the game; they have nothing to play for after all. You’d have to think twice before backing City here at 1.14 – of course Guardiola will still be pushing for the record points tally however 1.14 is not a price to back at this stage of the season. Brighton have nothing to play for though, so we could see a very open game here and some end to end action – over 3.5 goals is trading 1.98 at the time of writing and that looks good value. City have obviously been banging in the goals for fun lately and Huddersfield were fighting to stay up at the weekend, where as Brighton can play with nothing to lose tonight – we expect an open game and overs looks good value.

TOTTENHAM V NEWCASTLE
8pm Spurs have put pressure on themselves in the race for a top four spot tonight after losing 1-0 at the weekend against West Brom. Prior to tonight’s games; there is only two points between Spurs and Chelsea – obviously both play tonight before the final day and given the teams they face tonight – it will be expected that this battle goes to the final day on Sunday. The markets are very confident on a Spurs win here, as they’re currently trading 1.2 at the time of writing – ironically the same price as a Chelsea win tonight – will either of them slip up? It’s difficult to see past a Spurs win here – Newcastle have been struggling away from home recently and come here with nothing to play for. Since beating Arsenal and getting into the top ten in the Premier League table, Newcastle have since lost to Everton, West Brom and Watford. We expect a smooth Spurs win here and at 1.9 -2 goals on the Asian Handicap they look good value.
