SHAMROCK BIDDING FOR NAPS HAT-TRICK: SHAMROCK bids for his THIRD WINNING NAP in a row on Friday following on from Pollywollydoodle WON 5/4 yesterday.
I’m heading to Dundalk for the all-weather tonight and a bid to follow up yesterday’s NAP – Pollywollydoodle who won easily at Tramore at 5/4.
General Marshall should come with a Government Health Warning. He has been beaten in his last three starts – each time at odds-on – and notably at 1/4 last time out. However he should lose his maiden tag in the opener on the Dundalk card tonight but I’m not paying to find out !!
The best race on the card is at 7.10 – the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Star Appeal Stakes (Listed).
I’m sticking with the Ger Lyons trained Bertie Le Belge here. He won his first two starts and certainly wasn’t disgraced when stepped up to Group company last time and finished fourth to John F Kennedy at Leopardstown.
Smuggler’s Cove for Aidan O’Brien is the obvious danger after his comfortable win last time at Listowel.
