DOUBLE FRIDAY EVENING ACTION: Two Irish meetings on Friday evening. Kilbeggan starting at 5.15pm and Dundalk at 5.40pm.
It’s rare for me to nap a debutant but the standard of form on offer in the 6.10pm at Dundalk is of such a low standard that surely the race is at the mercy of the Jim Bolger trained debutant Clinical Approach.
The New Approach bred four-year-old makes a belated debut but can make up for lost time with a win at the first time of asking.
The form on offer from the other five is very moderate. Lost History wasn’t beaten far when fifth in a Clonmel claimer having not had a clear run and that probably rates as the best form and the biggest danger to Clinical Approach.
