SHAMROCK’s NAP ‘SEQUENCE’: SHAMROCK is bidding for his second winning nap in a row today. OK it’s no DAQMAN sequence but you have to start somewhere 😉 Today’s NAP runs at Kilbeggan.
I put in a good word for yesterday’s first two winners at Clonmel but wish the nap had been on the opening winner Auden WON 13/8 rather than Orator WON 3/10.
In the end they both won easily, 5 lengths and 7 and a half lengths respectively.
Again, we’ll get the business done early today by playing the nap card in the opening race at Kilbeggan.
Fantasy King should be a shade odds-on on my figures so naturally I am tempted by the current price on BETDAQ of around 2.3.
He’s only had the three career starts over jumps but is rated 78 on the flat and shaped well over timber last time out at Cork to run second to the red-hot favourite Curley Bill.
He travelled well throughout and a maiden such as tonight’s looks at his mercy.
Vinniepride isn’t rated in the same parish as Fantasy King on the flat but is shaping well over jumps and has run well here in handicaps and is the clear danger.
