ACAPULCO LANDS NAP: SHAMROCK was on the mark with his NAP Acapulco yesterday – an 11/8 winner at the Curragh.

Acapulco traded at big odds in-running on BETDAQ but in the end won the Listed Sole Power Sprint Stakes in good style at the Curragh.

She settled well and came through nicely to beat Ardhoomey by half a length on her debut for Aidan O’Brien.

A good card at Killarney tonight where the going remains soft (heavy in places).

I am looking forward to the five runner McSweeney Arms Hotel An Riocht Chase – a Grade 3 event at 7.10pm.

Preference is for the hat-trick seeking Woodland Opera who romped home by seven lengths in a beginners chase at Fairyhouse and followed up winning a Grade A chase at Punchestown, staying on well over a similar trip as tonight. He had plenty of talent over hurdles and looks set for an equally as successful career over the larger obstacles.

Ballycasey was outclassed in the Champion Chase at the Punchestown Festival but had previously won a Grade 2 Chase at Fairyhouse and looks the big danger.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Woodland Opera (7.10 Killarney)
