SHAMROCK STICKS WITH THE FLAT ON FRIDAY AT DUNDALK: With the Irish challenge at Cheltenham looking stronger over the weekend we stick with the flat action today.
We’ll focus more on Cheltenham over the weekend – I thought it looked hard for the Irish raiders at Prestbury Park today with stronger chances over the weekend.

There’s a listed race at Dundalk tonight – the Carlingford Stakes at 9.00. Banna Boirche is favourite on BETDAQ – currently trading around 2.62.
He has plenty in hand on official ratings and generally runs well here but I do worry about his current temperament. He is getting into the habit of being slowly away at the start and can’t really afford to give away too much ground at this level.
The nap is a lay of Banna Boirche and we’ll add in a place lay as well at around 1.32 there isn’t much downside.
