TWO OUT OF TWO FOR SHAMROCK ON FRIDAY: A winning nap and lay that finished out of the frame but no racing today.
Well that went nicely to plan last night at Dundalk.
The nap, Lily Of Kenmare WON at 10/11 (odds against on BETDAQ) and the lay bet in the next race, Oh So Lucy was out of the frame in fifth at 5/2.
Unfortunately though the weather has yet again spoilt the action.
This afternoon’s meeting at Navan has been cancelled because of a waterlogged track.
Officials at the County Meath circuit were left with no option but to draw stumps following an early-morning course inspection.
Further overnight rain put paid to any notion of the jumps fixture defeating the elements.
Thurles are due to race on Sunday and I’ll be back to mark your card assuming it goes ahead of course !
