5/2 WINNING NAP ON FRIDAY: Shamrock landed his first winning nap of 2013 with Benbecula WON 5/2 but 4.1 at the off on BETDAQ.
Good to land the nap on Friday – I promised a crack at 13 winning naps from the first 20 in 2013 and we are now 1 from 3 so I need to hit a few more bullseyes to keep on target.
The Irish action comes from Cork on Saturday and the key horse in the 12.40 at Cork is South South West who is not even running !!
However, several of the leading contenders have form that ties in with South South West so we have a guide as to their respective abilities.
Pacelli Road was second on debut to South South West, beaten three lengths, and One Fine Day was a similar distance behind him on debut in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown.
One Fine Day looks the play today – he was pitched in deeply on debut, entitled to improve and was the best of these on the flat.
