PLACE NAP: I promised to look more closely at the place market and have found a suitable nap tonight at Downpatrick.
King Malik at above evens on the BETDAQ place market for the 6.30 at Downpatrick tonight looks a good bet.
He was a course and distance second to Definite Ridge last time out and a repetition of that effort (when the odds on favourite was back in fourth) should surely be good enough for a place again tonight.
Prior to that effort King Malik was also placed here at Downpatrick over a shorter trip and clearly goes well here. Main market danger is Zadarska from the Mullins stable but he has had plenty of chances without success and is not one to take a short price about.
