No joy with Friday’s NAP but it’s been a good week so can’t really complain.

Regular readers will know how strong I was on Blood Moon when he won at Fairyhouse last time out and I think he has an excellent chance of following up in handicap company this afternoon in the 2.30 race.
He looks on a good handicap mark (95) and gets a three-year-old allowance here as well.
I can’t be as confident as I was nine days ago but there remains that line of form that makes me think we can still see more wins from Blood Moon. He was good enough to finish third to Bear Cheek in the Group 3 Curragh Stakes last season and fast ground sprinting really appears to be his thing.
As today’s PROFORM stats point out, Ger Lyons and Colin Keane are a winning partnership and Blood Moon is taken to follow up on his Fairyhouse win.
