GOWRAN PARK SATURDAY NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Gowran Park on Saturday for his nap in the opener. It’s currently trading around 2.32 on BETDAQ.
What Lies Ahead looks the answer to the opening maiden hurdle on the Gowran Park card this afternoon.
The mare is the most experienced runner in the field but looks to have been presented with her easiest chance to date and can gain her first success over timber.
Twice a winner on the flat she also ran in a Listed race at the Curragh.
Her latest effort saw her finish fourth to Dalmatia at Clonmel and would have probably finished closer but for being hampered at the second last.
The biggest danger may come from Deserter who didn’t run too badly on debut at Cork when third to Walk To Freedom on heavy ground.
