PUNCHESTOWN SATURDAY NAP: SHAMROCK NAPS in the final race on the Punchestown card today – the bumper at 3.55pm.
Hopefully saving the best until last today with the nap The Comediologist in the final race at Punchestown at 3.55pm.
The Gordon Elliott trained runner started an odds on favourite for his debut at Naas back in January and at face value was a little disappointing back in fourth place. However, the ground was deep mud that day and he should do better today on slightly better ground, with the benefit of that run behind him and in a race that doesn’t look as though it will take much winning.
High Tail It was second in a maiden hurdle at Tipperary in April 2015 but hasn’t been seen on the course since and might lack for speed over this two mile trip.
Jimmy Breekie is consistent enough but I’ll be surprised if he proves good enough to win this.
