THURLES BUMPER NAP: SHAMROCK saves his best bet until the final race on the Thurles card on Saturday.
Lots of unexposed sorts in the closing bumper at Thurles today but it might pay to follow the potential of Soviet Pimpernel who created a good impression on debut at Leopardstown when second to Sixshooter.
Whilst he was no match for the winner, he had the rest of the field well strung out.
Scalor has a similar profile, having chased home Sellarbridge on debut at Punchestown and like the selection can only improve.
Plenty of newcomers to be worried about, notably Farceur Du Large from the Noel Meade stable that won it last year.
