SHAMROCK LANDS 2/1 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Saturday Ainippe WON AT 2/1. The filly stayed on well to win the Listed Irish Field Curragh Stakes.
Delighted with the performance of Ainippe at the Curragh yesterday who scored in great style on what was only her second racecourse appearance.

2:55 Kilfrush Stud Royal Whip Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 2f, 5 runners)
Fascinating clash between Parish Hall and Kingsbarns who have both had well documented training setbacks in their career. Edelmira might be capable of beating both of the older horses. The Dermot Weld trained three-year-old won a Group 3 at Cork in good style last time out and in receipt of weight for age may be able to crack her more experienced rivals.
3:30 Debutante Stakes (Fillies’ Group 2) (2yo, Class 1, 7f, 9 runners)
Lucida has plenty of big race entries and Jim Bolger’s filly certainly started her career in style when winning well at Naas. She can overcome inexperience to land this. Aidan O’Brien runs three of which the pick looks Qualify.
4:05 Galileo European Breeders Fund Futurity Stakes (Group 2) (2yo, Class 1, 7f, 6 runners)
I’m not sure I want to be backing Gleneagles at short odds. He has been a big talking horse and won his maiden well here but was less impressive at Leopardstown when winning a three runner Group 3 race. He is a lay for me.
4:40 Palmerstown House Estate Irish St Leger Trial Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 6f, 6 runners)
Ladbrokes St Leger winner Leading Light looks impossible to oppose but is priced accordingly in his first run since winning the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.
