TRIPLE GRADED ACTION AT NAVAN: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the three Graded races on the excellent Sunday card at Navan.

Three Graded races on the Navan card on Sunday:

2:40 Flyingbolt Novice Chase (Grade 3) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m 1f, 3 runners)

Identity Thief is out, which leaves a three runner race but it still looks competitive.

Ballyoisin has come in for plenty of morning support on BETDAQ and the confirmed front runner might well be hard to peg back.

He impressed when making all to win at Fairyhouse last time out when he had the field well strung out.

He is completely unproven at this level but lightly raced and remains an exciting prospect.

However, Ball D’arc is one of several well fancied runners from the Elliott stable today and might have his measure today. He’s tough and was a Grade 2 winner over hurdles who won the Dan Moore Memorial in good style at Fairyhouse last time out.

3:10 Ladbrokes Ireland Boyne Hurdle (Grade 2) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m 5f, 9 runners)

It’s that man Gordon Elliott again and he should land this race with Sutton Place who is unbeaten over hurdles and has already bagged a Grade 3 and Grade 2.

He was mightily impressive when winning the Limestone Lad Hurdle at Naas last time out when he beat Supasundae easily and that one will need a minor miracle to turn that form around today.

4:10 Ten Up Novice Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+, Class 1, 3m, 8 runners)

The favourite Anibale Fly might be vulnerable under a penalty for his win in a Grade 3 at Naas last time out.

He only got home by three-quarters of a length and is not the best jumper.

Rather than find one to beat him I’ll press the BETDAQ lay button.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Ball D’Arc (2.40 Navan)
NEXT BEST: Sutton Place (3.10 Navan)
LAY: Anibale Fly (4.10 Navan)
