Pair him with Martin Odegaard pulling the strings in midfield and this is a very good side. It will be interesting to see can they handle Senegal now.
Norway’s fans have been one of the genuine stories of the tournament so far as well, with thousands of supporters performing the synchronised “Viking Row” – fans rowing in unison to a steady drumbeat, helmets and all – both inside Gillette Stadium and on the way to the ground beforehand. It started as a chant at a friendly against Sweden before the tournament and has since gone viral around the world! Senegal arrive under pressure, but in fairness to them they were always up against it against France, who are now tournament favourites. They more than matched Les Bleus for long periods, especially in the first half. I can see why we have an open market here. Both sides had goals in their opening games, and I can see goals again here.

If Senegal can take that first-half intensity into this game, there’s no reason they can’t cause Norway problems, and we all know how good Haaland is for Norway.
