It’s a tough card to land a NAP at Clonmel as there are no obvious hotpots.

We’ll know our fate early as I’m napping in the opener at 2.15 and the all-important nap is Indian File.

He made a satisfactory jumping debut when fourth at Listowel but then sauntered to success in heavy ground at Limerick – making all the running to beat The Mighty Milan by 17 lengths. The FIFTH placed horse in that race, Seamus Mor, has since come out and won a Naas handicap hurdle by 15 lengths and I think Indian File will be mighty hard to beat today.

Obvious danger is the Willie Mullins trained Perfect Gentlemen who won at Punchestown but has since finished a close up second on two occasions and may well have won but for a mistake at the last at Thurles last time out.

But on balance I think Indian File has more scope and hopefully will make it 20/30.

NAP: Indian File (2.15 Clonmel)
