A very smooth win from the nap yesterday Legal Spin who relished the step-up in trip to win by six and a half lengths at Killarney.
Killarney are joined by Leopardstown with the Group 3 Meld Stakes the highlight on their card.
Just four go to post in the feature at 7.15pm with Brendan Bracken now a non runner.
Hazapour is likely to start odds-on for this after his fifth placed effort in the Epsom Derby behind Masar. Trainer Dermot Weld has an excellent record in tonight’s race and Frankie Dettori comes over for the ride.
For the nap I’m taking National Glory to finally lose his maiden tag in the 7.50.
He ran his best race yet when stepped up to this trip last time out at Fairyhouse – only beaten a neck but put six lengths between himself and the third placed horse.
His experience will count for plenty here and the Dermot Weld trained Waikuku looks the danger.
