LIMERICK THURSDAY NAP: SHAMROCK looks ahead to Thursday’s card at Limerick where his nap of the day runs in the Grade 3 chase at 4.20pm.

Most eyes on Aintree this afternoon but there’s a good card at home in Ireland at Limerick including a Grade 3 and Listed race.

Unsurprisingly, the ground remains heavy and there are two non runners in the featured Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase at 4.20pm.

Plenty here are on recovery missions including Kemboy who ran a good fourth to Shattered Love in the the JLT at Cheltenham but then got no further than the first before falling in the Irish Grand National.

Jockey bookings would suggest that Kemboy is preferred to Some Neck who steps up in trip having won a beginners chase over 2m 4f at Gowran Park last time out.

I’ll take a chance away from the Mullins pair though and side with Moulin A Vent who unseated his rider in the incident packed Irish Grand National.  On a going day he is quite smart, as he proved when winning a Grade 3 at Naas in January.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Moulin A Vent (4.20 Limerick)
