DUNDALK ON WEDNESDAY: SHAMROCK thinks the bet of the night could come in the second race, a maiden over six furlongs.
There was a lot to like about Elusive Ice’s debut here last November when a head second to the more experienced Queen Of The Sand over seven furlongs. The issue for her supporters is the length of absence from the course but I’m not too concerned in this instance.
Mianya Return brings the best recent form to the table. She finished second here on debut last month to Salvado in a maiden and that gives her a fair chance of going one better here but the profile and potential of Elusive Ice is preferred.
In the Dundalk opener at 5.45 Majestic Timeline should be able to follow up on her recent course and distance success where she came from off the pace. Similar tactics are likely to be deployed tonight and you might get slightly better odds in running on BETDAQ.
